“Tomorrow” – Reading Period Open

The reading period for the “Tomorrow” anthology is now open. We are accepting stories up to 6,000 words in length that fit the project guidelines. If you have a story that’s suitable, why don’t you submit it for consideration.

The reading period will close in ten weeks — on 9 February 2013.

“Tomorrow” is Postponed

Due to unforeseen circumstances we are postponing publication of the “Tomorrow” anthology until early to mid 2013. The reading period will be reopened in December 2012, for a period of ten to twelve weeks. We received over 300 submissions during the recently closed reading period and, apart from the last 20 or so, every manuscript was read. Emails have been sent to the authors of the unread manuscripts asking them to consider resubmitting their stories (or something new if they wish) in December.

We will attempt to streamline the project’s submission guidelines in coming weeks, so please be sure to read them before submitting.

For updates on submission period and publication dates, follow us on twitter (@kayellepress) or join our Facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/KayellePress).

Open for Submissions: “Tomorrow Anthology”

We are actively looking for submissions for our “Tomorrow Anthology”, which will be published later in the year.

The successful submissions will be action-packed stories that tie a possible future world to our time. The stories must have speculative fiction elements (science fiction, fantasy or horror).

The reading period is open until the end of September 2012. However, we will extend the period to fill available positions if necessary.

Refer to our submission guidelines pages for more information.

Submission Period Closed!

The Night Terrors Anthology submission period is officially closed. We would like to thank everyone who submitted a short story for consideration.

Currently, replies have been sent out to all stories received on or before 11 December 2011. If you submitted a story prior to this date and haven’t received an email then don’t despair, your story has been shortlisted and a final decision will be made as soon as the remaining submissions have been processed.

Night Terrors Anthology is due for release in March or April 2012.

If you didn’t have time to submit a story to this anthology then now would be a good time to check out our next forthcoming anthology, Tomorrow Anthology. The reading period isn’t open yet, but it means you have plenty of time to plan and write a suitable story. Check out the Submission Guidelines page for details.

Reading Period Announced for “Tomorrow”

With so much talk about “end times” and speculation as to when this may happen, Kayelle Press will be publishing a speculative fiction anthology in late 2012 featuring stories that will delve into this topic. The reading period will be 1 June 2012 to 30 September 2012. If you are a writer and this theme sounds like something you would enjoy exploring then now is the time to start planning and writing.

This publication will be for adults.
